Well after a pretty grim week in Finland (I came down with a cold pretty much straight after stepping off the plane and suffered all week with it) I got back late on the Friday night and then had Saturday at home to catch up on a few things before we set off to France early on Sunday.
Were down here for the week with a group of friends and then next Saturday were shooting our friends Mathilde and Andy’s wedding here which sounds like its going to be great fun and quite different to some of the weddings we have shot so far.
Theres a group of 10 of us so we have rented this massive and wonderful French gite with its own pool and grounds, its pretty much in the middle of nowhere and so its very peaceful and relaxing. The weathers not been particulary good so far (quite a lot of rain and not a lot of sun) hence why I am sat here catching up on some work.
Here’s a few pics of where we are staying.
We thought the neighbours were quite close to us when we first arrived until we realised all this was ours! (Pool house far left and then the 2 bits of the main house in the center of the shot and right.)
The view across the pool from the front of the house is great and is even better when the sun is shining.
And this is where I am currently sat whilst typing this.

Nick - Hi Sarah
Its a bit strange is the blog in that it changes the lanaguage depending on where your connecting from, so all last week I was working my way around the controls and menus in French! It was after I had logged out and in but it seesm strange that it reacts that way, hopefuly google will iron that out!
The vests and hankies were courtesy of Mr White, I think he must have been on something when he thought they were a good idea but it does explain his intensive exercise regime over the last few months.
The house move is gonna be a challenge but hopefully by xmas we will have recovered!
We managed to have a couple of days of sun at the end of our week in france and also seem to have brought it back with us to the uk so hopefully it will stay fine for Thursdays HM Day!

Sarah - I am having trouble with this blog… my site is all in dutch and I dont understand (I didnt think this message worked yesterday, hence my other msg today)
Where did those vests come from?
It does seem like “leam/warwick possie on tour”
We are going back to the uk this weekend, so hopefully we’ll take all the bad weather with us… fingers crossed for sun over there.
Sarahx
PS Congrats and good luck for the move. We look forward to the house warming
Nick - Hi Sarah, I am sure you will recognise more than a few faces in the string vests and large glasses above, needless to say there was as much alcohol drunk as there was on some classic leam and warwick posse nights out!
The weather continues to be very British despite our location but were promised that it will improve for Thursday, Friday and Saturday so fingers crossed.
Hope things are good for you in Munich at the moment, weve finally got a house move date (few days after we get back from France) so expect a house warming invite once were in.
Cheers
Nick
Sarah - Hello to everyone from Munich.
Wow, the gite looks fantastic! (I was checking your blog for pictures from this week
I hope that the weather cheers up so you can use the pool.
Have a great week, Sarahx
