Jon is very involved with the local scuba diving club based in Leamington Spa (he is actually currently president of it) and yesterday they held a Promise Auction.
This meant that various people donated services that were then auctioned off to the highest bidder, he showed me the list of promises earlier today and there was quite a mixture on there … a loan of someones house in France for a week, a cake baked each Wednesday for a month, some acupuncture sessions and my personal favorite of breakfast in bed served by 3 ladies in wenches outfits.
He texted me earlier this evening to say that the photoshoot we had donated had gone for £85 which at that time was the highest anything had gone for ….. but he didn’t say if the breakfast in bed had been auctioned yet and also how much he was going to bid for it
