We didn’t have a wedding scheduled for this weekend but instead we celebrated mine and Kate’s 8th wedding anniversary (exactly 8 years on Tuesday 5th August) with a Heroes and Villains fancy dress party at our house on Saturday night.
Big thanks to everyone who was able to make it, was great to see so many of our friends there doubly so given how spread out across the country we all are, extra big thanks to our friend Sarah who came all the way from Germany to be there, hope you had a good trip back hun!
With such a nice bunch of people there was always going to be more heroes than villains present and some characters proved very popular, 4 Lara Crofts, couple of Super Girls, Wonder Woman’s, Supermans and Pirates.
Jon, aka Superman took a lot of the photos below but the camera also seemed to be passed around quite a bit so if some of the shots look a bit fuzzy or squiffy then that’s possibly down to someone else taking the shot and or the amount of alcohol drunk by them.
We started off outside with a BBQ and then as the night got cooler headed inside for some guitar hero action and tried in vein to offer some competition to Jon Jon, aka Mr Incredible who had definitely been practicing.
My ass will definitely be back in the gym this evening after seeing some of these photos!
