Its always a fantastic night of funny TV with a very serious message and fund raising appeal behind it. One minute your watching some of the funniest people on TV and the next its some footage of some of the poorest people on the planet desperately in need of our help.
The opening film presented by Lenny Henry this evening has already made my eyes wet so I have made my donation early so that I can watch the rest feeling slightly less guilty about everything that we have.
