Stag Party Update

Edit : I wrote this in the morning but couldn’t get an internet connection sorted until just now so I am just posting this having got back from the “Jet Skiing” that Mr Garner organized that didn’t turn out to be exactly as we were sold, but more on that in a my next post. Gottta dash and get ready for our Hawaiian evening now!

Just a short days motoring today (still no wind to speak of which will allow us to get the sails out) and we’ve just docked at the city port on the island of Hvar which is where we will be staying until tomorrow.

We dropped Dave off earlier on today to get the ferry back to Split as he has to fly back home for boring work stuff whilst we are left here to struggle on without him, we miss you Dave but we will do our best to carry on having a mega week without you. We did just almost order 8 beers at the bar but we caught ourselves and made it a sad 7 instead.

After the first nights total and utter carnage on the drinking front its far to say that the last 2 nights have been a bit calmer as we have been in various states of recuperation. The days have consisted mainly of motoring along for a bit, stopping for a swim (and some diving), having something to eat and drink and then having a nap, this has then been repeated a few times until we reached our destination….it’s a hard life!

Last night we were moored at the small island of Solta and we had a very civilized evening dining at one of the local restaurants on the harbour front there where the food and service were both fantastic.

Lunch sounds like its almost ready now so I need to stop typing and get this uploaded along with some more pictures and get ready for this afternoons activity, which is Jet Skiing ☺

Quick warning about some of the pictures below, if you don’t want to see a full grown man forced to wear a bikini then don’t look any further!
