Mallory Court Wedding Photography | Helen & Steves Wedding

On Saturday I had the great pleasure of Photographing Helen and Steve’s Wedding and reception at one of our favorite venues to shoot at which also happens to be very close to home. Mallory Court is less than 2 miles from our house, is a fantastic wedding venue where everyone is always well looked after so we are always keen to go back there.

Jon was still in the USA for the second part of his wedding so I was ably assisted at this wedding by our friend Bob from Robert Whetton Photography who has helped us out on a number of occasions now.

We had a really hot and humid day here on Saturday for this wedding and also a few rain showers  but thankfully it didnt come down persistently until late at night so although that made photographing the fireworks challeging we had some clear spells during the day for the wedding photos which always handy.

Here’s a quick selection of shots from the wedding which are a mixture of both mine and Bobs. We also did a bit of a Wedding Photo Booth during the evening reception so I will also post some of those in the next few days.

We love brides that will play up to the camera, it really makes a difference to the wedding photos

The grounds at Mallory Court are just perfect for wedding photos, always well kept and lots of variety in a relatively compact area = great for us photographers.

This was just before we lost our bride and groom in the smoke completely!

As you can probably tell from the photos it was pretty wet whilst we were shooting the wedding fireworks but its always fun to shoot fireworks and doubly so at a wedding so a little rain (actually quite a lot) on me and my camera wasnt too much of a problem, both me and the camera worked fine when dried out.
