Its fair to say that we had quite a bit of rain at yesterdays wedding, in fact to be more accurate it fair poured it down but that certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits least of all our super bride and groom Sophie and Andrew. The forecast had looked pretty bad for most of the week so I wasn’t that surprised to see it raining in the morning when I arrived at Classics in Kenilworth for a few shots of the girls having their hair done and it carried on that way for most of the day.

We did get lucky when we came out of the church service with a short break in the rain and although it didn’t last long it at least gave us chance for a quick confetti shot so that was a bonus. By the time we made the short journey back to the Woodside it was pouring it down again but Sophie and Andrew braved the elements with us for a shot with the classic Rolls Royce wedding car before we retreated back into the dry for some group shots.

Patience is always the name of the game on a wet wedding day and after the wedding meal had finished this patience paid off as the weather broke and we had chance to head outside with Sophie and Andrew for some couple shots and a few more group shots with their friends and family.
