Wedding Photography HMS Warrior Portsmouth | Clare & David

On Saturday we had the great pleasure of photographing Clare and Davids wedding ceremony at St Ann’s Church in HMNB Portsmouth with a reception afterward aboard  HMS Warrior thats located  nearby in the Historic Dockyard complex. It was  fantastic day that we shared with a great couple and their friends and family so even though it was a long hot day (hottest day of the year so far) it was definitely a lot of fun for us too!

Lots of memories from this wedding that will stay with me for a long time, not least of which the very close shave we had with a hovercraft on the beach that nearly ended with an impromptu trash the dress session, definitely a moment to remember and try to avoid in future! Anyway, no more of my waffle I will let a few photos tell the story instead.

Nick - Cheers Claire, Thanks for the nice comments. The brass on the deck of the ship is a track for the big rear deck canon so that they could swing it round and shoot rearwards or from either side at the back, pretty cool I thought.

Claire Gould - Stunning photos, and what an amazing venue. I love the shot with all the guests on deck and the swirly brass on the floor (no idea what it is, but looks fantastic in the photo!)
