Still a few jobs left to do but mainly small ones or bits of kit left to purchase (cabinet for the AV equipment being the main one were still searching for) but were ticking them off one by one atm. Heres a few pics of what it currently looks like.

Its late and I need some sleep so heres a few pics instead of more of my waffle.

Last couple of weeks have been hectic to say the very least but we have still managed to move things on a bit due to my dads help and some long days when we have been here to do the work.

It’s late so for once no more rambling from me, just some of the latest pics.

Dad was down again helping this weekend just gone (thanks again Dad) so we finished off the plastering around the door, fitted the hatch to the roof space, cut the holes for the down lights and even got round to testing some colours out and then finally Sunday night Kate painted a wall whilst I put another coat on the ceiling.

The bit around the door was fiddly but our plaster, aka Dad was upto the job.

Marking the holes out for the lights and working out how the pattern best fit between the beams in the roof was quite a challenge.

One dark wall that the screen will go on and then others will be lighter, ceiling needs a bit more rubbing down and finishing coat of paint.

Now the new loft hatch is in place the celing looks much tidier.

This is what it looked like Friday evening after my Dad had spent most of the day filling the joints between the plaster boards.

whilst we were working in the garage we had some helpers in the rest of the house, thanks again Beanie and Adrian!

3 walls almost done, quite a bit of cabling still to do though

Its been cold all weekend and then this evening we had the first snow of the year!

So thats 2 walls studded out and the insulation cut and fitted, just the plasterboards to be screwed to them now and that will be 2 sides pretty much done except for filling the gaps, paint, and coving ….. not to mention the 100 other jobs left to do on the rest of the room, like wiring sockets, creating the archway, lighting, insulating the roof space, laying the wood floor, fitting the screen bracket, speakers, cable runs etc…
