When we shot Wendy and Andrews wedding last weekend we had the pleasure of Andrews brother Steven for help and support at the wedding. Steven’s an old friend of my sister in law and it was great having a familiar face there to help us organise things, he was a massive help on the day to us but he did come in for a little bit of stick when we photographed the guys doing a jump shot … we kept telling him he wasnt making it off the ground, which was a bit of a fib really. So this ones for your Steven (far right of shot) as you can see you were definitely getting some good air and no photoshop of the final shots will be required to make it look like you were!
Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome on Wendy and Andrews special day, we had great fun spending the day with you guys, it was a pleasure to shoot the day with such a fun crowd of people. Heres a quick sample of some of the shots we took during the day, the complete proofs for which will be online within 2 weeks.

Trash the dress is a fairly new concept that originated somewhere over the other side of the atalantic (as many of these things do) and this video was shot by a couple of awesome photographers from Del Sol who are based in Atlanta and shoot destination weddings all over the world.
I am sure some people right now are wondering “why the heck would you do that though?” and initially it does seem a very absurd concept to trash something that probably cost you a pretty penny or two …. but the general reasoning behind the concept is this.
It’s your wedding dress and you only ever get to wear it once and then its packed away in a box or dress bag and no your daughter won’t wear it in 20 to 30 years time so the other option is to sell it on eBay but then you may end up seeing photos of another bride wearing it, so why not break with convention, wear it again for another day, have some fun and get some more great photos as well!
