I don’t think props are always necessary for our Photo Booth to work well but I think the great selection Lottie & Lee brought with them for theirs really added to the fun and made for some unique photos on the day, its the awesome people behind the costumes & props that are the real stars though!
I was born and lived in Yorkshire for the first 26 years of my life so even though I haven’t lived there for quite some time now I still consider myself a true Yorkshireman at heart and still find myself smiling when I pass the “Welcome to Yorkshire” signs as I pass over the county border. Thus I was very pleased when Lottie and Lee contacted me to photograph their wedding at the very impressive Rudding Park Hotel on the outskirts of Harrogate as it was a another opportunity to head up back there and at the time I thought I would also be able to score some extra brownie points with my parents by staying over the night before with them as I don’t get to see them as often as I or they would like.
As rotten luck would have it that didn’t work out exactly as planned as they were away on holiday the day of the wedding so I ended up driving up early from home on the day of the wedding through torrential rain for most of the way but literally as soon as I reached Harrogate the sky started to clear and it just got better and better as the day went on. Turned into an absolutely cracking day and Lottie and Lee were both absolute stars and really enjoyed the whole day. Make sure you come back to check out there Photo Booth pictures later because we had great fun taking those!

Ross-on-Wye sounds like a fair trek from our base here in Warwickshire but due to the good motorway routes for virtually the whole journey there its actually only just over an hour away from us so very easy to get to even for a relatively short day of coverage like what Joanna and Mike wanted.
We photograph a lot of full day weddings where we are there to cover most of the days events but we also now do a fair few shorter days where even though we are only there for 4 or 5 hours we manage to cram in an awful lot of photos in the time that we are there.

Nick - Hi There, thanks for the nice comments. We use a lastolite hi-lite background for our photo booth and its a lot easier to get a clean background with it than paper or vinyl.
Continuum Photography San Diego Wedding Photographers - I was wondering how you got your background so white, and then I saw the wide angle shot of the rig, I will have to look into a background like that!
